Im new to 4e so the new attacks and way things work still befuddle me ^_^ Thanks, Chris. |

Since the entire movement and each attack is part of the shift, the PC's don't get OA while it makes this move. This is one of very few attacks, monster or character that allows you to move through an enemies square. The only exception would be if the Cilops is marked by a fighter, who would get an AO even if the creature shifts. I think of it more as Cilops Rampage, as it lets the Cilops hit the majority, if not all the players in one shot, knock them prone and do a good deal of damage. |
