I've pretty much figured out what creatures I want to populate the Forest Ridge with: Lizardmen, Myconids, Halflings, more Halflings, some elementals here and there, and a cool Crystal encounter in the Crystal forest, but the next zone is giving me much more trouble. What types of creatures are you likely to find in the Sea of Silt? Giants, Silt Runners, and Silt Horrors? I can use Monster Builder to scale those up or down to be more appropriate, but I feel like there should be more. How about Silt Pirates? Human? Elf? Also looking further down the road, any suggestions on what might be populating Giustenal? Thanks for your wisdom, Flankster |

Also you've got the Caller in the Darkness, a psychic emanation made up of all those who died in the city which attempts to summon any sentient beings that get close to the city to join it in death. It targets human, elf, dwarf, and halflings within a five mile radius of the city, attempting to dominate them and summon them. And it is more powerful against those with native psionic abilities. In eihter case it casts illusions into the minds of the dominated to make them think their friends are enemies and that something they treasure or someone they love can be found in the city. Leading them into the city and to their deaths. The old City by the Silt Sea box set has plenty of info in it. Pretty cool. |
