Has anyone started any conversions for bringing the Dark Sun Monsters into the 4e format?

What do you guys think of the conversions? Would anyone care to provide much needed feedback?

Come on, no one's interested? These babies are not going to make themselves, you know.... (Just like regular babies, they require hard work, heh.)

I'm totally willing to provide feedback on these matter. Gaming groups around here are very enthusiastic about running Darksun Challenges.

You could probably point a link to what specific info you want reviewed and I'll be sure to distribute around, so that feedback can get gathered and discussed.

Come on, Just Game on!

The ultimate link is here to see all of the downloadable .doc files.
Feedback to be provided through my email pennarin@gmail.com ...or on athas.org's Arena forum, in the thread called Penn's Monster Thread.

As a side note, it would be a benefit if the feedback was posted on the Arena, rather than in this thread, as it is cumbersome to hop back and forth to review the comments.

I've added the Gaj to the lot, and soon will add the Belgoi.

Btw...I haven't received any feedback for the monsters. /me sad

Tried to check whereas, but I assume that we'll have to be patient 'bout this.

Cheer up my-friend.

I've already distributed your material around here & gaming sessions for playtesting were scheduled in different parts of San Jose (our capital city). As far as my local gaming groups, we've got our results ready in pen & paper scratches, thus I need to type them here or there; but rest assured that feedback will be here around wednesday's eve...

Sweet!
You can always look up back at the original thread, as I've updated the monsters, and posted new ones. For example, the Half-Giant Soldier is now an Half-Giant Elite Soldier and is a lot more badass than before, and I've added a regular Half-Giant Guard to reflect those H-Gs not part of the army: http://www.enworld.org/forum/showthread.php?p=4420197#post4420197

The monsters I now have are:
Ashen
Belgoi
B'rhog
Jhakar
Giant Ant Lion
Gaj
Gith (the lot of them)
Dark Spiders (the lot of them)
Dwarf Templar Enforcer
Human Templar Commander
Half-Elf Templar Knight
Half-Giant Elite Soldier
Half-Giant Guard
Kirre
T'Chowb (two variants)

I haven't had a chance to playtest your stuff yet, but if my group ever does get around to playing the Dark Sun campaign I've got planned I'll definitely be using your monsters. If nothing else, I appreciate the work your doing because dealing with monsters has been the hardest part of trying to convert Dark Sun to 4e so far.

You can also change some physical descriptions as well. Ogres make passable Half Giants, and various leader types vcould be used to represent Templars.

Sure. The Human Mage can be made into any kind of preserver or defiler guy (you can make minor adjustments for race), if need be changing the abilities' keywords to surprise the players. Same with all the NPCs found in the H series by WotC.
