Aug 22, 2010 1:33:00 Have they mentioned when the Dark Sun update for character builder will be released? I tried googling, looking around the site, etc. In the past they've typically released the character builder files the same month as the setting.

Not trying to troll, but i am a little annoyed at having to pull out a pen and blank character sheets when I pay a subscription fee specifically to avoid it.

There's your problem. Quit giving WotC money for internet tools that they aren't going to fully support. Stop rewarding half-assery.

Aug 22, 2010 1:58:06 You know, it's odd. You have a whole company theoretically comprised of a "by nerds, for nerds" mentality. And yet, throughout 3ed/3.5, i don't think they ever fully completed their etools suite of products. Then for 4th edition they've had plans for a couple years to have a whole range of online support, but little of it has materialized. It's sort of underwhelming, when you think about it. Like i said, who better than nerds to understand the value of computer support?

Not hating on wizards, as a whole, just sort of surprised by the "e" department.

Typically it is released the first Tuesday of the following month. It will be late this time, in all likelihood due to everyone getting ready for recent cons and the release of the Essential lines.
