This month is about the psionic equivalent to Legendary Boons and Divine Boons, which is one way to introduce wild talents in a game. Like other boons (DMG 2), these rewards are in lieu of magic items. So a player might have selected the Wild Talent theme in an effort to make his Athasian dwarf fighter more psionic, but it doesn't have to stop, as eventually he will get rewards (in non-DS campaigns usually magic treasure), some of which might be such boons, furthering his Will. |

That's okay, since Psionic Talents could be a dormant ability that a character manifests later in life (as suggested by the article: is revealed after an encounter with a psionic being?), or the Way is taught to a PC by a Psionic mentor. |
