different appearance for id fiend?

Dec 31, 2010 20:56:01 I like the concept of the id fiend but the picture doesn't look scary to me at all. Can somone help me think of a different appearance for it?

Remember that the Id Fiend is messing with your mind - whatever you see that 'looks scary' will be amplified. It may look like nothing in the photo, but when you experience it live, it's like the 'T-Rex in the rainy dark' scene from Jurassic Park. You know, the part beginning with the ripples in the water glass.

Just because it looks plain does not mean its not dangerous. Some deadly plants look exactly like non-deadly plants. Its a defense mechanism, if it looks harmless you will not be on your guard.

My players thought the id fiend is just like any other giant lizard. Little did they know.

Jan 01, 2011 10:27:34 Agree with the others... Play the look up... they see it and are not impressed... then BLAM. If you work at it a little the next time they see it they will remember and want to avoid it if possible.
