#3 angelus_obscura Apr 01, 2011 11:46:52	The bestest! There are times when we, the players, get bogged down with overplanning/thinking things. It took us awhile to get our groove, minimize the yap, and just do what we say we're gonna do. Our game began around the time of Kalak's fall, but we started in Raam. Methinks Dregoth chose this moment to make his move as the other SKs are distracted and scrambling. And then there's the Dragon's levy we recently discovered. When the undead/dray army attacked, nearly the entire outer city was destroyed and depopulated (killed/taken). Abalach-re's templars are now scrambling to meet the levy, which we don't care about except the noble battlemind. His desire to increase his clan standings and delay Borys's inevitable rampage by purchasing slaves created tension within our group. I like it! I have a pretty good idea what's ahead of us in the next session as we continue to explore Giustenal, and I am afraid for my psion, haha. My companions agreed that the palace would be the best place to start looking for answers. Questions. In chapter 13 of the linked journal, Solus described a skeletal apparition that assaulted her until her allies told her it was a hallucination, hhich prompted an active Insight check. Is this enough for my PC to realize she is mentally compromised and so take everything else that happens with a grain of salt? Meaning, I have every reason to do Insight checks when something bizarre happens, right? And then there was the encounter where one of her allies became invisible to her but not the rest of the team. I didn't do an Insight check for this, as I wanted to roleplay it out to hilarious effect. But after the fight, he reappeared. Would this be enough to do some sort of check to see if some outside sentience is messing with her? What kind of check would this be?
#4 siromega Apr 01, 2011 20:54:46	If you think you're going crazy and Insight's not doing it for you, you might want to try Arcana. In the meantime, comtemplate that someone may be playing mind games on a Psion. I find that hilarious.
