Elemental Evil and Dark Sun

Today Wizards of the Coast released the Elemental Evil Player's Companion. This is more or less a set of character races and spells. What Dark Sun fans will be interested in is the races, Aarakocra, Goliath, and Genasi (there's even a sidebar entitled Genasi on Athas) as well as a slew of elemental themed spells.

So if you're playing Dark Sun with D&D 5th edition, this is a must own....and it's free!

Im a little torn. i know its free, much like the Unearthed Arcana articales, but this seems like it would be more polished content. It feels like playtest material again. THough I do LOVE the Deep gnomes racial feat to recieve some of their stronger racial abilities from the monster manual. I really hope WoTC keeps going in that direction,

i like it a lot both races for darksun and all the elemnatal spells i like it a lot i was hoping doe a element cleric and doamin powers ect ..would luv help working on that

I built a module for 4e using the Dark Sun Creature Catalogue and the coincidental fact that the aarakocra given there could be made into a Hard encounter for L7 PCs. I'm looking forward to how they made the transition.
