They existed before FR. They were in the old Fiend Folio.

You forgot trolls (taken out by Hamanu of Urik).

Looking at en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dark_Sun#The_Champ..., it's possible that centaurs were wiped out as well.  However, that was in a novel (The Rise and Fall of a Dragon King), not in any game data.

Centaurs would be half-horse, and there are no horses on Athas. Abbey reworked the names and titles of some of the Champions, so the Centaur Crusher may have been Wemic Annihilator.

Although I figure centaurs aren't/weren't on Athas as well (too standard fantasy), I have to say if they were there, centaurs wouldn't be half-horse, horses would just be weird centaur-like critters.

Course, the green age was basically supposed to be standard fantasy, but eh, centaurs aren't a player race so I don't see it being a problem.

Well... I wouldn't say the Green Age was supposed to be basically "standard fantasy" -- It was very strong psionics, no divine, and the arcane was obscure and new (relatively unknown), from the way it had been described, if memory serves.

The Green Age was poor in metal compared to standard fantasy settings, and had no horses or dogs or cats (even though a few mistakes were inserted in the setting here and there on that regard) or dragons, and the races were upside down for the most part.

Plus what Xlor said about divine, psionics, and arcane, yeah, it was a very different setting from standard fantasy.

Dang it, now I need a picture of Hamanu to make a motivational poster.

TROLLS: Feed them and Hamanu will burn you with them.
