| #1Raddu76Oct 23, 2009 0:14:35 | Stumbling around the web I found Greyorm's excellent Ruins of Chokath. This is great stuff! I really like the Charnel Dwarves...wow... And the Raider Tribes and Rajaat's Children are great.
Where is Chokath? did you make it up or is it on a map? |

| #3phoenix_mOct 24, 2009 4:39:26 | How could you hide this from us, greyorm. HOW?!! Are you kidding me Pen? Greyorm, I'm liking what you've put together. One question, is the material going to remain as fluff or are you planning on adding statistics? |
| #4greyormOct 24, 2009 15:37:29 | It is made up whole-cloth. (Also, Penn, I swear I posted the new links to all that stuff here on the boards a while back.) Regarding stats: given I'm more into playing indie games these days than D&D and etc, and I haven't had a chance to play DS since I first wrote that stuff back in '05, I'd always meant it to be just fluff I could drop into any system. At some point I might put stats together for it, but it hasn't been a priority. However, that doesn't mean someone else couldn't throw some stats together for it on the boards, that would be fine with me (and I would certainly link to such). Glad there's interest and you guys like it! Thank you! |

| #6greyormOct 26, 2009 18:09:03 | The Oceans text requires a huge amount of clean-up right now. It came from a discussion we had here quite a few years back, trying to account for the disappearance of the oceans (since it couldn't have been due defiling--which only destroys plant/living matter, not water) and threw around a bunch of theories about the hows and whys of it. I didn't really have much more about the Reaver Gods, I didn't develop it much further than that: I believe it came out of a discussion of what characters could do with the Crimson Savanah or in epic-level tiers. I just figured that there were others in the world who had followed in Rajaat's footsteps--or perhaps he followed in theirs: that the Reaver Gods were the final evolution of the Nature Benders--who became one with the elements/paraelements/quasielements and built slave-socities of life-shaped, elementally-infused minions far beyond the Tyr Valley region. |
