The only other source is The Rise and Fall of a Dragon King, lifted from Hamanu's memories of once having been inside her palace. Should give you the best clues. I'd say probably Arabian Nights (with a Dark Sun style, of course), but I might be way off course.

I too went Middle Eastern, but I decided to go with a more Old Testament feel than Arabian Nights.  Sorceress Sielba reminded me of the Queen of Sheba, and the tale of Urik being unable to get past Yaramuke's walls made me think of the Walls of Jericho.
