At this point without comments on content, here's the link: www.enworld.org/forum/4e-fan-creations-h...

Some of my monsters are even in there. They're early and/or modified versions, btw. For the latest versions of mine, please contact me: dark spiders, half-giant guard and elite soldier, t'chowb, jhakar, kirre, dwarf enforcer, and I forget a whole bunch.

Hey all, this is a project I have been working on. Basically it is around 200 pages of conversion, alot I have done myself, I have also used a lot of idea's form people around these boards, ENWorlds boards and the Athas.org boards. I am still working on them, and hopefully I will have another revision up fairly soon. If anyone has any suggestions for them, please feel free to let me know and I will certainly see how they go!

I have been considering having certain elemental lean towards certain divine classes, not having it mandatory by any means, but for example most Clerics of Water could favour the Avenger class being that they are quite a vengerful lot, Clerics of earth my favour the Paladin being the flavour seems to fit best. Plus the Templars would definitely have Avengers in their ranks. I am just working out the best classes to match to each element etc.

I don't think you should ever bother with classes for elements
that's usually a BAD idea, IMHO. Rather, fit the flavour of the CHARACTER to the class he must therefor chose.  Because for example, say a RL religion, you can have a dozen different view points and beliefs ranging from totally pacifistic to psychotically violent! hehe

the elements don't give a toss about what humanoids believe in. They do care about the strength of their belief. Ya dig? ;) Thats' what I loved about Planescape and agreed with: it's not ever really about who is the highest level or has biggest baddest weapon etc...it's about who's got the most chutzpah!! Like the sargeant said in Full Metal Jacket: "He's got guts and guts is enough!"

I preffer making players really justify why the heck they take a race/class. Long as they enjoy the character, fit the setting and current campaign arc, and aren't munchkining, I don't care what the heck they are. On Athas, pure bloody determination: guts, is what winnows out the chaff from the wheat! ;)

Well said. Well said.

Let players be creative for once, instead of offering multiple choices.

well.. what I was sating wasn't exactly saying if you worship fire you must be class X, just a little more of is you worship fire class X works well with the flavour given in Earth, Air, Fire and Water, but any divine class can work fine.

I do agree that the avenger is a good one to put emphasis on, at the moment I get the feeling form core D&D that Clerics and Paladins are the most common of the divine classes (I can;t put my finger on anything specific, just the feeling i get from reading through the fluff etc), perhaps in my conversion I can suggest that darksun divine characters are more likely to be avenger's over paladins etc.
