#1 maxmudd Aug 19, 2010 13:09:50	Hello all, i'm just wondering if anyone has heard when the update for the DDI will happen including the dark sun campaign setting and psionic power book. I have a monk i'm playing and my DM won't let me use skills that aren't in the DDI.  Any notes or presumptions to when this will happen? Max

It can be in published material but it's not kosher until it's in DDI?
#7 operator17 Aug 21, 2010 10:24:15	It is possible that his troupe doesn't buy the books (or hasn't bought those books yet) and only runs off of what's in DDI because it is convenient. Another possibility is that the DM likes to keep copies of their character sheet files to reference between or during game sessions and can't do that if the character options don't exist in DDI.

#9 Duskweaver Aug 24, 2010 9:58:36	Or they use the Character Builder, which makes it inconvenient at best to take options that are not yet in the database. My group does the same. September 21st is just so... damn... far... away...
