I picked up marauders of dune sea and I'm pretty excited to be running my first pre-made adventure. but reading through I'm noticing something, which dungeon tiles do i use for the interior of the dungeon??? OK so the first and third encounters clearly state they use the poster map and the second encounter is obviously the new athasian desert set (which includes alot of water for some reason?) but inside the dungeon I cant tell what tiles are used, they look different from the cave and dungeon style tiles i have now? are these old tiles they are using? are they still in print? WTF wizards thow me a bone here!?!?

I plan on using all that water for Silt.  Just a thought.

Yes, the tiles probably come from an older set.

Wizards is aware of the problem and decided to remedy the situation with a dungeon tile set that will not go out of print and they will use that set for future adventures.

This is one of the last few I guess where you'll have to figure out from which set came the tiles you are referencing.

ive been to a few game stores and what i found out was, yes the interior of the dungeon is composed from out of print tiles. the gameshop clerk told me they looked like they were from two or three different sets. I reiterate, WTF wizards?! you'd think you should use the newer more available sets so your newbie GMs wouldnt run into this problem. i'll just have to fudge it and work with what i do have or do some shopping on ebay but im upset that those are my options. additionally im still currious as to whether these tiles might be included in the master sets. if so i dont want to have to wait form them... i have the suplement now, i want to run it now, i shouldn't have to wait.

and props on the idea to use water as silt.

I'd like it if anyone could tell me what sets those tiles came from. so far ive figured out that the yellowish dungeon tiles came from dire tombs, that leaves the gray dungeon tiles and the cave style tiles?

Caves of carnage (I think) is the one with the cavern look.
I don't have the adventure itself, so without more details I can't be certain of what the other tileset is.

But I'm sure you can substitute the missing tiles with some you have.

Another idea, maybe the Dungeon Tile mapper has the set you are looking for. Print out the missing tiles.
