It flees combat if it becomes bloodied or iftwo of its companions are downed." Does anyone know what thri-kreen that is referencing? Or is it just assumed the mercenary band used to be 4 members, and they cut 1 out to make the encounter slightly easier (and forgot that part of removing him)? |

For 4, and Thri-Kreen you could add a Thri-Kreen Ambusher (Lv 6 Lurker page 192 MM) but doing so would make the encounter over level 5, halfway to level 6. Probably too tough an encounter for a 2nd level party. Or add a Thri-Kreen Bounder (Level 6 Minion Skirmisher, page 96 DSCC) which would keep it a Level 4 encounter, but only barely. But why add one minion? No Thri-Kreen Hunter was ever written up as a monster to my knowledge. I'd keep the encounter as written without the glitch mentioning a thri-kreen. |
