Follow-up to my other racial class posts. This one was harder to do because there isn't much to a Mul that gives them a +1 LA.

Mul Class
This class does not grant hit dice. Feats and ability score adjustments should be granted according to Table 2-5 in Savage Species.

A first level Mul starts at 1st level of a class of his or her choice. Upon reaching 2nd level, the character must take a level of Mul before taking another level of any other class.

Base Traits
  • Hit Die: by class
  • Favored Class: Gladiator
  • Ability Scores: +2 Str, -2 Cha
  • Size: Medium
  • Speed: Base land speed is 30ft
  • Darkvision to 30ft
  • Damage Reduction 1/lethal damage
  • Dwarven blood
  • Proficiencies: by class
  • Automatic Languages: Common. Bonus languages: Dwarven, Elven, Gith, Giant, Tarek.

Class Skills
A Mul's skills are by class

Skill points at each level: by class

Table 1:
Level BAB Fort/Ref/Will Skill Pts Special<br /> 1st +0 +0/+0/+0 none Tireless, Extended Activity, +2 Str, +2 Con

[*]Non-lethal Damage Resistance 1/-

Maybe I'm nit-picking, but it should either be called
Restistance to non-letahl damage 1

or
Damage Reduction 1/lethal damage.

There is no non-leathal damage resistance AFAIK, espacially no resistance to whatever that is bypassed (the indicated /-).

Is it intentionally that muls no longer have dwarven blood?

Otherwise it seems ok (although the +2 Str, -2 Cha as base traits and the +2 Str, +2 Con at 1st level bug me a little, but there's nothing that could be done about it, unless changing the DS3 base traits).

Actually, that's how it's worded in the athas.org rules, so blame them ;)

oops... I forgot to add it, thanks for noticing! I'll add it after I post this.

Yeah that bugs me too, but I didn't see any other way to make this level worth being called a level. I'm certainly open to suggestions.

It should be stated as

Damage Reduction 1/lethal damage

Just FYI

I just changed the wording in the original post. Either way, the intent is to have the same abilities/stats as the athas.org version at the final level.
