#1 pjweaver Aug 27, 2010 19:14:02	Surfing the net last week I JUST saw that Darksun had been re-released.  I know, I'm a little behind the news.  Now a days I am mostly a tabletop mini gamer so I get RPG news a bit slow. Anyway, I went to my first D&D game in many years (started in 1980, stopped in the 90's) on this past Wednesday's Encounters Night.  Sorry to see the Darksun Encounters was not well received due to how tough it was, but this release is going to suck me back in.  I very much want to run this game. So what I am looking for is some online mentorship for current version DMing.  Even guidance around Wizards Site and the LOADs of content.  It appears I should have a regular audience available at my local shop and a possible DM there willing to help/join as a player as well.  Basically I need someone to bring me up to speed and put up with some basic questions as I fumble through writing up a new campaign and getting my first few games in.  I will be playing weekly as well so that will help speed up the process. I am also looking to "cowrite" a campaign with someone.  Basically share some ideas and adventure threads we can use within our games.  Since our player base is not the same they should/will not know the difference.  Darksun has and always will intrigue me and I have a core of ideas to run with though I have never actually played in its setting, hence where I may need some help.  I'd like to get a solid camapign base to work off of before i start the game.
