| #2NyarlathotepSep 19, 2010 13:07:46 | It isn't really spelled out. The way I am playing Tyr is that they have a lot of idealistic laws but little capacity to enforce them. So slaves technically are technically freed upon crossing into the city, but unless the slave owner draws attention or gets very unlucky, it is highly unlikely that anyone would come along to do anything about it. Note, that's just my interpretation of the way things work in the city and not 'canon'. |
| #3PennarinSep 19, 2010 14:33:02 | Unless Tyr has an Asylum Law...no; slaves from "across the border" would still fall under general laws of slave ownership even within Tyr, albeit if such a slave were to go into hideout within Tyr's legal holdings the proprietor could not arrange for official help in retrieving his escaped property. IMO nothing, though, would prevent him from hiering bounty hunters for a legal retrieval job, quoting inter-city laws. |
