| #1phoffmanOct 05, 2010 17:56:08 | I made a Paper miniature Sand Skiff for Dark Sun and I thought i would share. Link to Printout Page Link to Colorized Page What do you think? If some one wants to edit this and upload it with art, that would be awesome. I took a picture of my un-colored prototype on normal print paper. I made this one first to make sure it all fit together correctly. |

| #3modern_iconoclastOct 06, 2010 7:42:17 | Very nice phoffman, I'll give a try for my next game. I'm using 110lbs paper and it is sturdy enough. I just stumbled upon some very nice paper cliffs and canyons from Fat Dragon and I'm going for an all 3D paper setting so this accessory will fit just right! |

Chitin and bone. Make the hull the carapace of some giant insect, and the mast a spine from something (pointy spine, not backbone spine). |
| #6phoffmanOct 15, 2010 1:23:12 | I colorized the image with wood and canvas textures. |
| #7slashdevnullOct 17, 2010 10:30:38 | And we can download the colorized version... where? ![]() Great work on this, btw. Edit: I think that TheAmnesiac's skinning idea is great. In the words of the Penny Arcade guys in the follow-up podcast to their recorded-play Dark Sun podcast, "On Athas, you can't throw a carapace without hitting something chitenous." |
| #8phoffmanOct 17, 2010 15:25:04 | I updated the first post so there was an easy to find link. But you could have right clicked on the image to save as. Your free to put a any edits you want on this image. I just put the textures on it in a manner that was easy for me. I am an engineer not a graphic artist, Jim. |
