#1 whitelycan Oct 03, 2010 22:30:25	Does anyone else think that psurlons kinda sound like they might have been Mind Flayers before their little accident? The race description just sounds too much like mind flayer psychology for them not to be don't get me wrong though, I would love for this to be true.
#2 naxel Oct 04, 2010 4:20:57	If psurlons being ancient illithids is what you want for your campaign, then do it! It's your world and there are so many holes (good ones) in the setting that you can personalize as much of it as you want! Which is what you can and should do for any setting, in my opinion. There's a little more information on psurlons in the 3.5e book Lords of Madness, though not much. The fact that they came from another world and had to hide out in worm-shells kinda fits with Dark Sun's gith, and how they came from beyond the Gray and were stranded as well. Mix that in with standard illithid-gith relations and the connections go from there
