#1 tehsquirrely Jan 18, 2011 14:51:16	Hi, I was just wondering if there was a random desert encounter table floating around somewhere. I plan to have my PC's spending alot of time in the desert trying to navigate (and survive) to their destinations. A random encounter table would be nice to make the desert feel as dangerous as it should be.

If characters are level two, roll a d20 and add 5 to the result. If characters are level three, roll a d20 and add 10 to the result. it worked nicely in my home-game (now they're lvl 5 and i don't have the time to build others like these)
#4 tehsquirrely Jan 21, 2011 1:47:35	Tavitin. Your avatar is justly deserved. You da man, for realz. Someone at our game has a d30 too, so if  roll high they might need to cut and run.
#5 tavitin Jan 24, 2011 12:18:25	This is a particulary dangerous list for a level one party. Balanced for a level two. Level three and more this list becomes easy-prey due to the high ammount of EL 1  I suggest you use the d30 on the first level. and then procceed with the d20+5 and d20+10. Normally you'll only need to scare them once (at level one mostly)
