Does it sound like a poetic description of a defiler to anyone else, or am I just weird?

Dead plants left in his wake... spending long hours in abandoned places like graveyards... bringing pain and shame to living things... the evil of what he is reflected in his eyes... Athas' own star/sun 'drained' to death... an awful debt that the whole world must one day pay...The movie Conan The Barbarian 2011 made me think Dark Sun
I didn't really see it. I kinda saw it in the original Conan movie with Ahnold. Perhaps more so in the original Robert E. Howard stories. But, with Howard, I feel he could see our world going back to a Conan-esque world if society crumbles... So, a bit Dark Sun indeed!

I have a guilty little secret. Two of the characters in my Dark Sun fiction were inspired by Kelly Hu's character in the first Scorpion King movie...

My cactus that I bought all those years ago when Dark Sun first came out, and still have! She, of course it is a she, has not grown so much, but seems healthy!
