| #1DoctorBadWolfFeb 05, 2010 4:58:30 | OK, so: Are all groups of halflings in Athas cannibals? And by cannibals, I'm guessing we mean that they eat other humanoids, or do they actually eat other halflings as well? I read some stuff on another athas forum(can't remember which one) that made little to no mention of cannibalism. thanks for clarification. also, anyone have good links to artwork of athas elves? |

This however does nothing to change the views of other sentient species on Athas who still consider Halflings to be cannibalistic in regards to humanoids. Though it has never been printed to my knowledge, Halflings simply think of all other species as lesser animals. |

The Halflings don't recognize other sentient races as sentient. Therefore the other races are on par with animals, and a potential food source. This doesn't bode well in the race-relations department. But then again, Thri-Kreen also consider some races as tasty (Elves, for instance), so it isn't necessarily an exclusive feature of the Halflings. |

Basically I provided some links that made things more confusing. mostly, this: the ideas presented in the linked page are things I've read elsewhere, but I was most easily able to find this page again, so I'm using it. arena.athas.org/forums/the-pit/topics/co... |
