i am letting my rpg group replay events in the Prism Pentad novels with their characters involved instead of the npcs like agis, rikus, sadira
however i only know the brief synopsis of the novels from “beyond the Prism Pentad”
and reading the dark lens description in the dark sun campaign pdf says it is protected by a crystal pit which prove deadly to all who try to retreive it.
anyone who read the novels know how this crystal pit work?

With respect, I'd really suggest you get the books and read them before trying to infer the storyline and building a campaign around it. All of the novels were just re-released, and Amazon.com is an easy place to find them.
Yeah, that seems like a no-brainer. OP, without reading the novels, what you are attempting is impossible.
"Now, these hobbits, they must be pretty awesome to get the ring to Mordor - I'm thinking 8, 9 feet tall, mostly barbarians, am I right?. But I've got some questions.
(1) Exactly how deep is Helm's Deep? I had in mind maybe 40 or 50 feet, so players are going to have to make checks to avoid drowning, but the important question is can an Eladrin teleport from the bottom to the surface?
(2) Does anyone have any maps of the Grey Havens? My players heard the elves were taking all their ancient possessions there and now they want to go loot it. Also some of my characters are lawful good and feel like they should be going to the White Havens instead.
(3) I need a list of powers for the One Ring. My player decided to keep it instead of taking it to Mount Doom because he says it's "in character" for him so now I need to know, like, can it throw fireballs?"
