From what Ive read nothing at all lives here, apparently undead are present and congregate around a rather nasty tower, ruled by some other nasty undead type. Im under the impression that the undead here probably arnt corporeal types (as well, if the place has no living types, then there cant be any well zombies/ skeletons.. can there? ). THis would be that whole area incredibly deadly (as corporeal undead are generally 'weaker' than the noncorporeal mechanically) In terms the heat/sun/cold issues, what would people suggest in terms of the new survival rules? They dont seem deadly enough for this area. |

Also, presumably the undead aren't trying to kill each other, so it really wouldn't be so bad for them. And a brief search of the books found corporeal undead even in the early 20's level-wise, so that having only non-corporeals doesn't make a place more deadly per se. I think I found the place you're talking about in the book, all full of obsidian and dead chaps. The place would count, I think, as stony barrens, so the survival rules suggest making overland travel 3/4 normal speed and giving nature checks to forage a -2, in addition to the normal stuff. Hard to find food, hard to get out once you're in. Seems deadly to me. Personally, if I were gonna send a group in there, I'd make the danger be that they'd be in there for a long time, not that each individual day would be more deadly. |
