| #3methvezemMar 02, 2010 7:52:17 | Good idea Dyssolve. Using an intelligent item such as this, with its link to nature and the importance of it in the history and ecology of Athas, to get some pointing and indications about the setting and its working to the PCs is a good way of using the rod. You might wonder what is the link or why I have been doing this item and the previous one I posted (the safeguardian's torc): they will be included in a doc I'm doing about the flora of Athas. (old timers here might remember this as one of my personnal project from years ago. It has been slowly expanded even while I worked on other project). |

My players will be heading west, although they probably won't get there for a month or so in real time, due to our weekly sessions and the very long journy from the city of Draj in-game. Do you have an idea for a release date on a beta of that material? |
| #5methvezemMar 11, 2010 9:15:05 | One thing I learned here, is to never promise date of release, even for Beta: nothing ever goes as fast as we believe it will. I'm slowly working on it when I get time, so unfortunately, I can't give you even an idea. As it is, up to as certain point, usable with any game system, I'm not really in a hurry too as the DS setting seems far from dead. The rule material it does contains is for athas.org 3.5 conversion, which is the one I'm most familiar with. |
