#1 llanedenning Oct 02, 2010 19:38:38	I am going to be starting up a Dark Sun campaign and, while it may not seem like a big deal, my copy of the Campaign Setting book doesn't have a map for the encounter other than the small one printed on page 217.  This map doesn't show an 'X'.  Where have others chosen to start the PCs?  Is there a larger map I could print out located somewhere on DDI I haven't found? Thank you for your input.
#2 baronspam Oct 02, 2010 20:27:40	I had not more than glanced at the encounter before, and you are right, no x in sight.  based on the layout and the fact that it is supposed to be an ambush I would start the characters on the right side of the map roughly in the middle.  The silt runners are hiding behind the rocks.  If  the pcs come in from the other side its not much of an ambush. There is a note at the top of pg. 217 that the maps were made with tiles from a particular dungeon tile set.  If you are not using those specific tiles just draw your own map that fits the theme of the encounter and don't worry about it being exact.
