I recall reading about an elven legend about the origins of the silk wyrm and their ties to the greater moon Guthay, but cannot find the original source for it. I assumed it would be in the Elves of Athas, but could not find it there at all. I'm running a campaign where elven culture and legends come into play, and was planning on having my players encounter such a creature.
If anyone remembers which sourcebook it was in, I would be eternally grateful. I own most of the books for darksun and all of the novels, so I should be able to find it once I get pointed in the right direction.

Clearly I do! Though only on rare occassions. I probably picked that way to say it because it came up the other night at cards, and one of the guys said "You know why they say 'to know someone Biblically' don't you?" Then explained it for our amusement. So it was in my head when I responded.
