| #1tyrantlobeDec 20, 2010 7:34:04 | I didn't bring my Creature Catalog with me to work this morning, and now I'm wishing I had. I need to know what they suggest to do to convert regular Lizardfolk to Ssurrans. Can someone please post the conversion suggestion? Thanks very much. |

It suggests not to change anything whatsoever. The 'conversion' is just a matter of reflavoring powers' names and such. You may use some of the 'monster themes' in there, too, but I guess that won't help much if the book isn't right there for you. Sooo yeah, don't change anything. Humans are humans whether they live on a coastline or the mountains, and sometimes lizardmen are just lizardmen whether they're in Forgotten Realms or Dark Sun |

Right, but there were a couple specific changes they said to make. One was changing the swamp walk to earth walk, which is easy enough. I can't remember if there were changes to any powers, though. |

The only one that needed some conversion was the Marsh Mystic, which is converted for you in the Creature Catalogue. The rest of the lizardfolk rely on melee attacks or poison attacks, which aren't in need of reflavoring. |

I changed him into lizard man that looked as though some form of magic defilement turned the right side of his face into sand. And that the "blood sand" he used was a poisonous biproduct of his condition. As far as his abilities went I didn't change a thing except how I visualized them. |

| #8rollawaythestoneDec 21, 2010 2:01:32 | keltis killed almost all of the lizard men so im not sure how they'd be the same Ssurrans equal lizardfolk in 4e. It's pragmatic design. Why waste page space stating out the ssurrans when they are for all purposes the same thing as lizardfolk. |

| #10xsv-violenceDec 21, 2010 21:14:33 | Integrity of what? The back story isn't really defined in this edition. Besides Lizardfolk remain as is for the Last Sea, while Ssurran are now desert dweling. Change the fluff, and that's enough. We have enough to do with writing the adventures, why get overcomplicated. |
