The Great Rift is dangerous on its own? How come kreens got scattered throghout the land if this place is hardly accessible (in and out)? |

In 2e, the only way to go in the Crimson savanah was to either climb down the Jagged Cliff ot pass through the Great Rift. the Rift was caused by an earthquake provoqued by Rajaat re-imprisonnement, at the end of the Prism Pentad. the waal at the bottom of the Rift was builded by the Tohr-Kreen an entrypoint for a possible invasion of the Tableland. In the advanture at the end of "T-KoA", they don't want any witnesses. How the Kreen climb it, it is not explained, but in "T-KoA" there is a reference to the fact that Thri-Kreen can't climb it. So there must be Kreen both up and down at the begining. But the Zik-trin'ak are modified so they can climb it. As I understand it, in the DSCS 4e, the Jagged cliff seems more... easy to cross... Then again, I don't know read it right or not |
