It appears to be a partial class called the Mystic with a few features from the class. The class seems to have some interesting mechanics and takes on psionics. What do you think of its use of concentration? |

| #4iamarogueJul 18, 2015 13:46:09 | How would something like Detect Magic interact with the use of psionics? Say, a character is concentrating on Detect Magic and then in their field of vision, a character uses a psionic ability that doesn't mimic a spell. |
| #5cowleymenJul 20, 2015 4:30:23 | as far as i can tell, doesnt detect anything. unless psionics recreates a spell, its doesnt interact with magic |

Every time I pull up the article for it, it just tells me the article can be found in the following document but there is no document anywhere to be found on the page. I've looked WotC site over five times from front to back and can't find the mystic anywhere so I can check it out.

I feel like the idea might have its place in other settings, but not for Dark Sun. I know their are psionic academies in the city-states (and the Order for high level characters, of course). However, their are just too many occurences of learning outside of these elements (eg. tribal psionicists, wild talents, the entire halfling tradition of psionics, etc.) for this idea to be a forced element of character creation. |
