#1 RalofTyr Jun 24, 2010 17:52:55	If you look at the map, there are Scrub Plains thirty miles South-South-East of the city of Tyr.  Has anything in the cannon text or your own personal games taken place there? Apart from Tyr's Verdant-Belt, which is farmland with surrounding Scrub Plains (good grazing country for herders), a good five days travel on foot through the foothills and badlands in between could lead to this Scrub-plain, which has water somewhere (probably a dry stream bed from the mountains).  Since it's over 75% surrounded by mountains with the remaining surrounded by badlands, this could be a good place to herd animals; it's only a few days travel to Tyr. Also, about twice as far, North-North-West is an even larger Scrub-plain valley in which one could successfully herd animals there; is there anything about that mentioned in the Road to Urik or similar stories?
#2 phoenix_m Jun 25, 2010 6:11:08	Well I know the first valley to the north is the Valley of Desverendi from Arcane Shadows, the next one to the north leads to where the Hidden Village slave tribe is located.  As for the area to the south, no idea, to the best of my knowledge its never been mentioned.
