| #2cowleymenApr 20, 2015 1:59:30 | IDK about most people, but when i run DS, the SK's are all but impossible to beat. I would make it a challenging battle for levels 17+, where every single person of the party should have to spend every major resource to survive. And expect someone to die. So challange rating 22? 23? Not quite sure what that works out too. BUt yeah, I see it as paramount to killing a god, though some of the SK's are lesser or minor gods.
I could never let Nibenay be killed though, he is just my favorite SK.

| #4BRJNApr 24, 2015 17:17:12 | 4e statted out several SKs (I think in DSCC). You could use that as a reference. I don't know if they did a good job or poor job of getting the "feel" of the individuals right.

| #7Ath-kethinMay 23, 2015 18:15:24 | The SKs were never statted out in 2e, with the exception of Borys and Dregoth. But in the '95 revised boxed set they listed the level of each one; you could use the Dragon Metamorphosis progression from Dragon Kings to take it from there. |
| #8KryptonlukeJun 19, 2015 19:17:06 | Some SK were statted in the 2E Kalak 21-25 Dragon Str 23 Dex 20 Con 20 Int 19 Wis 18 Cha -3

For 2e many were given levels arrays (dragons of level 21 and higher - which is to say a dual class human defiler/psionicist both of level 21 and up who has begun the dragon metamorphosis), and those mentioned above were statted. Kalak in City-State of Tyr - his stats are given for his form after his failed transformation - which led to his death - so are somewhat erroneous. before his death he would be a 21st level dragon (defiler 21/psionicist 21) Abalach-Re is statted in the adventure Forest Maker as a 21 level dragon (defiler 21/psionicist 21) Dregoth appears in both the Revised Box Set and City by the Silt Sea as an undead dragon of 29th level (defiler 29/psionicist 29) Hamanu, Nibenay, and Lalali-Puy are all in Beyond the Prism Pentad and are 23rd level (Hamanu and Lalali-Puy; defiler 23/psionicist 23) and 24th level (Nibenay; defiler 24/psionicist 24) dragons.
Andropinis should be a level 21 dragon (defiler 21/psionicist 21) Tectuktitlay should be a level 22 dragon (defiler 22/psionicist 22) Oronis should be a level 24 avangion (preserver 24/psionicist 24) Daskinor should be a level 22 dragon (defiler 22/psionicist 22)
For 3e By using the conversion rules for 2e to 3e: 21st level dragons should have 28 levels 22nd level dragons should have 29 levels 23rd level dragons should have 30 levels 24th level dragons or avangions should have 32 levels a 29th level dragon should have 38 levels Dregoth is the only SK thus far to be converted and appears in the adventure Dregoth Ascending. He is a stage IX dragon kaisharga Champion of Rajaat defiler 7/egoist 8/cerebremancer 5/arch defiler 10/athasian dragon 8 (CR 49)
For 4e Most of the SKs are statted in the Dark Sun Creature Catalog Abalach-Re is a level 23 Solo Controller (Leader) Andropinis is a level 25 Elite Controller (Leader) Dregoth is a level 30 Solo Controller Hamanu is a level 27 Solo Soldier Lalali-Puy is a level 28 Solo Controller (Leader) Nibenay is a level 29 Elite Controller Tectuktitlay is a level 22 Elite Artillery (Leader)
Daskinor appears in Dungeon Magazine 186 as a level 20 Solo Artilery |
