#6 Alphastream Feb 07, 2011 17:23:37	Dune Trader is probably my favorite AD&D supplement after Veiled Alliance. Both have a lot of really good information about the campaign world and both are very cheap on the secondary market.
#7 mgbeach Feb 09, 2011 15:48:17	Was looking around the web and randomly found this great blog post about a piece of Brom artwork that the poster had never seen before. I also had never seen it, and don't think it was ever published.  Still having the Jozhal in mind, I realized that this might very well be Brom's take on it. #8 fromost_the_grimm_02 Feb 09, 2011 16:05:52	Hmmn ... I recall jozhals as small, animalistic lizards, whereas that fellow looks wholly more sentient, what with some degree of clothing, and bearing implements. I'd say it was one of the original drays, or a nikaal maybe.
#9 mgbeach Feb 09, 2011 16:14:38	You know, I think you're right. I had missed the fact that jozhals were 4' tall and specifically didn't posess armor or weapons. Reading is a good skill.. I really should use it more Still.. great image though, ain't it? Don't recall ever seeing it.
#10 fromost_the_grimm_02 Feb 09, 2011 16:40:07	... hellz yeah.  I don't think 2E Dark Sun would have been what it was without Brom's artwork.  He captured the feel of under-clad and over-buffed ex-slaves wanting to beat on something repeatedly with sharpened bone sticks just *so* well. Although I can't ever recall Brom's take on a towering 2E half-giant at all ...
