In the DSCG there is a story about a city that the SK of Urik destroyed (via one massive act of defiling). I can't remember the name of the city, or the page number on which the DSCG talks about it. Would somebody be able to provide me with that information, because I can't seem to find it for the life of me...

Is this somthing new with 4e? I don't remember previous mention of this.

I do like how they don't say what happened to the Sorcerer-King of the city ;)

It's been part of the lore since the original boxed set, more or less.  It was ruled by the Sorcerer-Queen Sielba.

Interestingly some of that was changed, as DSCS4 specifies the city was not sacked, Hamanu just defiled everyone to death and left. Leaving the fate of the loots, the Sorcereress-Queen, and lots of other stuff unclear.

Which also means the Dragon is no longer has tight as before on Levy numbers...or the Levy is literally no longer used by the Dragon when he yearly reseals Rajaat's prison.

The dragon goes take a levy, but it is much smaller and doesn't seem to use it to keep Rajaat locked up.

Though, the dragon's upcoming levy being unable to be met by Tyr I thought was a really good plot point. I guess that could still be a problem. If Borys doesn't *need* 8000 or whatever slaves every year to keep Rajaat locked up, losing a city's tithes is more obnoxious than a serious problem.

In the books, didn't the other Sorcerer-King's cover Tyr's levy the first year? I remember them struggling to cover one.

Anyways, I'll probably still script a horrible vengance of a displeased Dragon.

(IIRC) Tithian was secretly paying the levy by covert means. Nomadic tribes and remote villages being the targets.

Balic had to pay the extra for the first year of Tyr's freedom.  After that Tithian began paying in secret.
