I was perusing the Dark Sun Creature Catalog gallery (I don't have the Dark Sun books) and I saw this:

It looks pretty awesome, and I'm wanting to find it in the Compendium to see if it could work in my campaign....

Any help would be great....

It's a black reaver zombie. You can tell because it's blind.

Black reavers are not "just" zombies. They're the product of defiling magic. They have human-level intelligence. They use shadow magic. They hunt their prey even without eyes. Their jaws unhinge like a snake's. They're much, much cooler than "just zombies".

Every thing provenient from, stated in, or pretty much just related (in any posible way) to Athas is much, much cooler than their non-Athasian versions. Zombies are no exception.
