They are currently worshipping this egg as something divine, and are quite zealous about keeping the egg. as you can expect, this causes problems when some hunters from the slave tribe the players are staying with right now manage to run off with it. there is the potential during the adventure for the egg to hatch. So what's in it? Whatever it is, it should be a rare enough (unique?) thing that neither the players, the slaves, or the gith recognize the egg for what it is. So what's in the egg? Tom |

Something that would be horrifying to a group of low-level PCs and add some real tension to the final conflict with the gith. But I feel that's pretty in-the-box and want to see what others might dream up. Anything but Mothra. ;) Tom |

Koschei Valta the Deathless - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Koschei - or to be more precise his phylactery. A few weeks after they obtain the egg, Koschei Valta is killed elsewhere, and returns to his phylactery. He sees the party, gets angry, beats them up and takes the egg. You may have just introduced a Big Bad to the story ![]() |
