The map on the back of Marauders of the Dune Sea shows a section of a chaotic Athasian city with many colorful tents and shades. I was excited for this map--the section shown made it look much better than the one from Bloodsand Arena. (Not that there's anything wrong with that one, but I like the look of this one better and I was really looking forward to having two Athas city maps.) |

They must have figured Dark Sun didn't have a big enough audience, and to sell the product they had to make it generic enough to fit any setting. They failed on both accounts of course. The map has goddamned horses and Dune Sea still doesnt easily fit any other setting. |

| #4slashdevnullSep 06, 2010 15:10:59 | The ironic part of this is that this was a commercial (pay-for) adventure, and the Free Game Day adventure (Bloodsand Arena) included a great gladatorial stadium map. WotC, how about posting the real Mauraders map as a download for subscribers, at the very least? |
