You can learn more about AL here by readong new articles from Chris Tulach: http://www.wizards.com/DnD/Archive.aspx?category=news&subcategory=news |

Adventures can be downloaded from the official site and play in the campaign continues through the end of 2014. There are some fantastic adventures. I highly recommend the conclusion to the campaign (a battle interactive that ran at WF), which also does a great job of paving the way for the Sundering event.
Adventurers League is a new program. The Expeditions portion of that program is like other living campaigns (LFR, LG, etc.). It should be a lot of fun.
I tend to like playing in several organized play campaigns in a given year. Playing LFR, AL, and something by another company is just fine (assuming you have the time). You can always test out a campaign and go as deep or shallow as you desire. That's the beauty of organized play - you can jump in again easily when the mood strikes. |
