#1 Primarchx Jan 26, 2015 8:48:32	I'd like to play in a posted Expeditions game this week.  However it's for 5th+ Level and I only have a 3rd level active character in Encounters.    The sign up said Pregen'd PCs will be available.  What does that mean?  Is that a character I can only play for that one game?  Can I create a 1st level PC and advance them to 5th using standard rules and just starting equipment instead and bring it in?  What are the options here?
#2 QwertyAzerty Jan 26, 2015 9:27:27	Your DM can allow you to play a non AL character, but that character won't be legal in AL game and you cannot bring with you in other table, (so taking the item certificate is useless)   you can try to find some friend and play Lost Mine of Phandelver (the starter kit adventure) it's very fun to play and it will bring you to level 5 with deccent item and gold. You need at least 3 player to do it (4 being optimal and 5 making it easy but with fewer rewards) If your group is focus and try to do it quickly without wasting time arguing and trying to get outside the adventure, you coul dbe able to do it within 8 hours of straight gaming (not counting time for eating, breaks, setting in, etc...   You can even do this adventure at home with your friends and be legal (but be warned, if you ask your friend to give you all the magical item (which is legal in AL if everyone agree) the DM at the store have the right to remove those item from your character while at his table if he judge that you have too many item compare to his table and you having all those item would make it less fun for the other participant.

#8 Skerrit Jan 26, 2015 12:45:22	I suspect they are pre-gens of his own design with the plan that you can't get DnDAL credit, but he plans to still let you play.
