So I was loooking at a few threads on here, and one of them mentions being able to change things to your AL character below fourth level. Can any one give me the full details? I have the basic pdf, if its in there can you point me towards it? sorry if this information is obvious and i missed it. But anyways, i was wondering what the limits on this where. Since i didnt own the players handbook, i have been leveling my character, an arcane trickster, quickly at the end of sessions. For the most part i just want to rearrange where I put some of my stats. Thanks in advance

You can change everything except your character's name pre-level-5.

Once you start an adventure with a Level 5 character, that character can no longer be changed.

The class feature says you *have* a spellbook, not that you *gain* a spellbook.

If you begin as a wizard, you get the spellbook as part of your starting gear, or you buy it from your starting gold. You wouldn't automatically get one by multiclassing.

By contrast, compare the Pact of the Tome feature for the warlock, which specifies that you actually receive the tome as part of your pact.

Oh, this is cool.  I didn't realize you could even change race/class/etc.

This is especially handy if the group is in flux for the first few levels, so that you can make sure the party is balanced.
