#1 warpigdave Jul 30, 2014 11:21:50	I am considering DM Encounters at my FLGS but I am on vacation that week, taking off a couple weeks for Gencon and family vacation.  But my question is can I start the Encounters on the 27th?  Running or Playing?  Im used to pathfinder society where it's kinda free flow, you schedule a day run some adventures and play in what you want.       If you were to start play a week later would you or your players be behind everyone else in the world as far as level goes?
#2 WotC_Tulach Jul 30, 2014 11:52:14	You can most definitely start D&D Encounters at any time. The material available in the complimentary edition of Hoard of the Dragon Queen doesn't take the full length of the season to complete.

#4 Knight_Marshal Oct 22, 2014 19:30:06	I started on the 7th session and just hit 2nd on my second session. I am told I will be able to catch up and their is a mechanic for starting the next part that starts at 5th if you are only 4th.
