We had started with a bunch of tables and they needed an extra DM and since I had run through it at home I chose to use that for encounters. I am now a regulr DM and we are now 3 sessions in with our group and they are loving it. My question is I would like to add in some extra hooks and such to extend it out. They like the enviornment and surroundings. I wasn't sure how strict Adventure League was with this sort of enhancement. So far I have been running it by the book, but there are times when they want more RP or more combat. Plus with the monster manual just coming out I have a whole bevy of baddies to add in interesting ways. I wouldn't be deviating from the main story line much, just enhancements.
What is the general consensus on this? |

That would give the players a steady income stream that doesn't come from playing any further adventures. Is that allowed in AL, and if so, how do we determine how much actual gold that generates for them? |
