#1 Nevvur Jul 17, 2015 19:50:23	When I started running Expeditions at a new store, one of the players wanted to start out as a Cloak, having grown up in Mulmaster as a wizard. His first adventure was ddex2-1. We completed 3 of the mini-adventures. Should he have been awarded a Cloak rank? None of the mini-adventures provide renown, and I'm sure he shouldn't get 1 rank per mini-adventure, but State of Mulmaster says participating in any 2-X adventure awards a rank.   Hypothetical since he's already level 3... but if he does get a Cloak rank for doing three mini-adventures in 2-1, could he have done the other 2 mini-adventures in another session or at another table? Would he get 2 ranks for participating in the module twice?
#2 Kalani Jul 18, 2015 7:19:10	You can join the Cloaks in any Mulmaster adventure (even if not specified in the adventure). DDEX2-1 grants 1 cloak rank regardless of how many parts you play.   Playing different parts at a later date does not grant you additional ranks. 1 rank for the entire adventure.    As normal, your Cloak Rank is 0 for the duration of that adventure and becomes rank 1 upon completion. Given the length of these mini adventures - I would award the cloak rank at the end of the first session (not at the end of the first part, except in the event that only one part is run that session)   Your Cloak Rank Sheet should have two-three entries for your first adventure (rank 0, rank 1 and possibly rank 2 if you earned a "to wear the cloak" favor). I don't think the favor is granted in 2-1 so they should end the session at rank 1
