Couple Odd Questions I need help.

SPOILER ALERT FOR MAGIC ITEMS!!!!!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ok I am playing with a home group and doing AL Home Play and we had a few questions about a couple items we have recieved during Princes of the Apocolypse and also a question about character level. 

 

First of all one main question is that we have a player who plays frequently on the Wednesday Night Encounters Sessions. He doesn't have any characters higher than level 5, but the rest of the party is pretty well built and he wanted to play a session with us. Long story short the magic item the "weird tank" that has the ability to let loose a water weird is now in his hands.....is that legal???

 

Second question. A character (warlock) used magic to get control of a amulet for a shield gaurdien. Does that amulet last for the adventure and then dissapear or does he keep it and thus control a shield gaurdien?

 

Third Question. A LG paladin gets a NPC to give him a item that he will only give to a LG Paladin or Fighter. That character gives the amulet to another character at the table during the adventure to keep the wizard alive.....the Paladin does not want the amulet can the wizard claim it as treasure?

 

Thanks for your help guys and sorry for any grammer or misstypes on my table and typing this much is a pain in the arse.

For your 3rd question:

If you have a limited amount of AL magic item cards and the LG Paladin acquires one, then gives it away to the Wizard because he really does not want it, then there is no logical reason for the Wizard not to take the card (or magical item). Of course, Adventure League can be very... peculiar... so perhaps a more seasoned DM who is more familiar with the "peculiar" aspects of AL could explain why, against all logic and tradition, this transaction should not take place. But other than that, IMHO, it pretty much should be allowed (unless AL dictates otherwise). =^.^=

Thank you for the answers. My next question about the weird tank is this. If you get the item in homeplay does it work in regular AL play and in encounters or is it just for homeplay?
