I just signed up for D&D Encounters that will be held at my local game store this Wendsday. I'm really excited about having the oppertunity to play. For I thought D&D organized play would never happen at my local game store. Most roleplayers I spoke with are hardcore Pathfinder players and told me they would not try any new rpgs let alone D&D 5e.
For D&D Encounters can we use the Players handbook and the list of characters in it, or will encounters just use the basic (free) rules?
Time to order my 5e books....
You can use the PHB. For full rules for OP, check out: http://dndadventurersleague.org/
