I play DM for a group of friends, and one of the things I'd like to do is get my hands on some of the Expeditions modules so we can play some games sporadically as we wait for new materials to roll out. I'm not interested in registering for Adventurers League, since none of us really care that much about having to jump through hoops and record what goes on from session to session, etc. We don't have many local gaming stores in our area who support D&D Encounters and the like, and really we're just interested in playing modules and the like for the interesting story and challenge.
Is there a way to get the Expeditions modules without having to register through a local store? Again, we're just interested in playing the game and having fun, and as a DM currently trying to hammer out a dissertation and finish graduate school, I just don't have the time to build a homebrew campaign at the moment. Expeditions modules sound like a real blast, and I'd hate to think that we'd have to miss out on having fun just because we're a private group not associated with a local gaming store. |
