can I use the D&D Next adventures be used with the 5th edition handbook? I saw some on RPG Drivethrough and was wondering if I could use them.
Thanks Mike |

If so, then the answer is yes, but not for Adventurers League play. And note that you will have to make some modifications, because while the final 5th Edition rules are similar to the D&D Next playtest rules, they're not 100% the same.
I hope this helps.

Salvatore) and he kept prodding me to run a game in it. So, finally when I get the 5th Edition books and I finally get to run an Adventurer's League game, I find out I can't run LotCS because its not an approved module for League play. Its sad to see that its just not available to be used the way I had hoped it would be. |
| (Reply to #2)Rustbucket | Yes I was just looking for some adventures to run for fun, not anything to do with the Adventurers League. Sorry I posted this in the wrong category.
Thanks. Mike

I also picked up Murder in Baldur's Gate and Legacy of the Crystal Shard to DM at home for fun. I've been trying to find a copy of Dragonspear as well, but I haven't found it in paper for a price I'm willing to pay. You can pick it up on .pdf for not to much from WOTC though, something I may end up doing eventually. For now, there is lots of stuff published, and I'm feeling the call to run my own homebrew stuff. You can't go wrong with the Next modules though. Good luck! |
