#1 DavianGoliath Mar 06, 2015 10:34:32	Hello All,   I'm not sure if I'm posting in the right place or not...but here goes...   My son and I played a few weeks of Encounter play at one of the FLGS in my area; I am pretty sure that it was actually "Casual Play" after reading a few items here. The last time we went, the DM didn't show up....which was a little disappointing...   We have three consecutive weeks or so that we have open Wednesdays and I'm thinking we will try a new FLGS and try our hand at D&D Encounters again. I have a few questions:   When is the official start of the new season for the Adventurer's League? It would be ideal to start with a new season, but it doesn't matter that much. Do we need to contact the FLGS in advance and get a spot at the table? What should we bring to the event? I take it we should bring some fresh level 1 characters? How do we go about getting one of these kits I keep hearing about? I think my son would get a kick out of getting one. Thanks in advance!
