#1 Happpycamper Aug 09, 2014 6:27:46	A friend and I are planning to attend the Defiance of Phlan adventure at GenCon...   It looks like we're expected to make characters at the site before playing...  Will there be pre-gens we can use to just pick up and play?   If I want to make a character at home to bring (I am partial to Monks), what level do I make him/her/it?  The adventure calls for levels 1-4.  Seems to me that a lvl 2 character would be more fun, as more of the class-specific fun stuff kicks in at that level...  We're playing it basically as a one-off thing for fun, not really expecting to have time for any further League play...   Advice and/or knowledge about the short adventure?
#2 Skerrit Aug 09, 2014 8:41:32	There will be pre-gens. You will want to make a first level PC, the adventure is really balanced for 1st-level PCs and DnDAL play does not allow for creating new PCs above 1st-level.
